  • Perform Investment Research and Execution. This includes market research and assisting in developing investment theses. Also provides investment recommendations and timely insights into emerging developments which may impact Cameron businesses and/or investments. This requires Colleague to stay up-to-date with economic conditions and understand how those conditions could impact existing and potential investments. This also requires Colleague to understand, identify, and problem solve complexities of high wealth personal portfolios, complex trust structures, as well as nuances associated with complex corporate structures.
  • Provide operational oversight of existing AFC/AFA/Cameron Ventures/CELP investments and acquisitions. This includes measuring and forecasting business performance.
  • Locate, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities that are consistent with the Company’s investment profile and return expectations.
  • Perform Investment Research and Execution. This includes market research, modeling, and developing investment theses. Also provides investment recommendations and timely insights into emerging developments which may impact Cameron businesses and/or investments.
  • Locate, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities that are consistent with the Company’s investment profile and return expectations. * This requires Colleague to stay up-to-date with economic conditions and understand how those conditions could impact existing and potential investments. * This also requires Colleague to understand, identify, and problem solve complexities of high wealth personal portfolios, complex trust structures, as well as nuances associated with complex corporate structures. * Compile and analyze information on investment / acquisition opportunities including business plans, historical financial statements, financial audits, budgets, and projections. * Compile and analyze industry/company/management intelligence. * Perform peer company analysis and recommend alternative investments. * Manage due diligence processes which includes collecting, analyzing, and assemble output. * This requires limited supervision.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree
  • 5 years’ experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis, including but not limited to target industry, markets, customers, value proposition, operating models, budgets, financial statements, business plans, organizational culture and the risks associated with investments.
  • Two or more years of investment work experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior commercial banking, private equity, or investment banking experience is preferred.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions with respect to deal terms, developing projections, reviewing legal documents, integration of targets, and tracking post acquisition performance is preferred.
